End Citizen United is trying to fight against big donors use their funds to affect United State elections. The Supreme Court case, Citizens United v. F.E.C, allowed corporations to have the same legal rights as a person. These donors can donate as much money as they want and don’t have to disclose their identity. On their website, they list the candidates they support and are against. End Citizen United wants to put the power back in the hands of citizens and fights against candidates that support the ruling of Citizens United. They support the candidates, who oppose this ruling.Max Rose and Jason Crow are some of the candidates who is supported by End Citizens United.
Max Rose is running for the New York 11th congressional district. Max Rose is a army veteran who has been awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze star. He served his country in the Iraq and Afghanistan. After his tours of duty, Max Rose served as Director of Public Relations. His job of director was to maintain the relationship between the criminal justice system and the community. End Citizen United is backing Max Rose due to his ability to establish relationships and his integrity. Max Rose is a man with integrity who does not serve special interests. He does not take political action committee pledges and is looking out for the interest of his district. Max Rose has seen how the political system in United States is funded by and serves the interest of the richest citizens. He wants to change this so the system works for every citizen. End Citizen United is backing Max Rose because Rose is a man who fights for what is fair for everyone.
Jason Crow is running for Colorado’s 6th Congressional District to help change the way that our elections are funded. Crow believes in hardwork and honesty and believes that these values to be applied to the federal government. He worked many jobs during his teen years before enlisting in the National Guard. Crow has never been handed anything in his life. He worked construction jobs to pay for college. He is a patriot and went onto serve in the Army. After his tours of duty ended, he decided to become a lawyer and start practice law in Colorado. Crow is sure he can a voice that will help the government to work for all hard working citizens not just the biggest donors.
